Since its establishment, IDC Indonesia has always been the home of Indonesia's Internet traffic. It is now host to the current National Inter Connection Exchange (NiCE)/OpenIXP. The current peak traffic of NiCE/OpenIXP is 60 Gbps (April 2011).
As of April 2011, there are 1709 connections consisting of 234 switches that connects 453 ASN (networks).
In 2006 IDC Indonesia establish the Mobile & Content Exchange Point (MXP) which connects all mobile cellular operators to the mobile content providers. A secure network seperated from the more public IXP to handle more secure transactions like electronic vouchers and top ups. Apart from the cellular operators there are currently 15 content providers connected to the MXP. No other Data Center in Indonesia manages this kind of traffic exchange..
